Stormotion wurde 2017 von Roman und Alex mit einem klaren Ziel gegründet: Software zu entwickeln, die Menschen über physische Geräte mit der realen Welt verbindet – und dafür sorgt, dass sich diese Interaktion einfach und zuverlässig anfühlt.
Angefangen haben wir mit Fitness- und Wellbeing-Apps: Companion Apps für vernetzte Trainingsgeräte, Wearables und Konsolen. Seitdem haben wir unseren Fokus konsequent auf Produkte an der Schnittstelle zwischen Software und Hardware ausgebaut.

Unsere Mission ist einfach: Wir helfen hardwareorientierten Unternehmen dabei, nutzerzentrierte Apps zu entwickeln, durch die sich ihre Geräte hochwertig, zuverlässig und durchdacht anfühlen.
„Storm“ steht für die Energie, mit der wir komplexe Engineering-Herausforderungen angehen. „Motion“ steht für den Fortschritt, den wir für Produkte, Teams und Nutzer vorantreiben. Das ist Stormotion.

Alex ist JavaScript-Engineer mit einem PhD in Computer Science & Systems Analysis. Sein Fokus liegt darauf, Geräteprotokolle in zuverlässige App-Erlebnisse zu übersetzen – von Bluetooth-Low-Energy-Integrationen und OTA-Update-Flows bis hin zu Background Sync, Telemetrie und Reconnection-Logik.

Roman startete selbst als Entwickler und übernahm später Verantwortung für Sales, Marketing und Delivery. Mit einem Master in Computer Science & Systems Analysis und mehreren Jahren Erfahrung in Deutschland verbindet er technisches Verständnis mit einem pragmatischen Blick auf Go-to-Market und Produktentwicklung für europäische Hardware-Unternehmen.
